I want to tell true stories

Before the coronavirus outbreak, it was all the rage to take a break from everything and see the world at the same time. There are many books about emigration, "time-out stories". International trips have now been canceled for the foreseeable future. At the moment we can only travel in thought.

We are currently experiencing a time of upheaval, reorganizing our lives. I don't know about you, but a part of me was suddenly able to breathe a sigh of relief and let go. I finally found time to do things I've always wanted to do. This includes finally writing my blog about Peru.

I am German and have been living in this beautiful South American country for over 10 years, which most people first associate with Machu Picchu. There are numerous travel blogs about Peru. I didn't find any blog telling stories from and about Peru in German. If you want, you can learn more about Peru and its culture here. And in a way that wants to raise awareness of the differences between Europe and this other part of the world that is rarely reported on in the mainstream media.

It  will be about the love, happiness, joy, but also suffering of people in a country where most people are far away from the "bubble" - the colorful air bubble  - still from hand to mouth

live and not of course be intercepted by a social network.

News doesn't always have to be "bad".

I will try to write more about the good and prefer to question rather than criticize. I don't just want to write about my experiences, but also research many different topics that might be interesting for you.  I  am open to suggestions, requests and questions and would be very happy if you kept in touch with my readers.

Kind regards,

Your

Anne Amaru
